eBay Seller Guide
- An active eBay Seller Account – Set up a seller account (eBay link)
- Ensure your Selling Limits will not prevent you from selling all products
- Access to eBay’s File Exchange service for bulk listing
Select eBay Seller as the Merchant Type. A required attributes table will be shown.
Set some values for required fields (non payment/refund/shipping settings).
You will need to enter at least two commands for this section:
setAttributeDefault Action as VerifyAdd
setAttributeDefault Location as 12345 (zip or postal code)

Set up payment, shipping, return policy fields.
For this section you will set default values for eBay’s payment, shipping, and return fields:
setAttributeDefault PayPalAccepted as 1 (meaning you accept paypal as a payment)
setAttributeDefault PayPalEmailAddress as email@example.com (your paypal email)
setAttributeDefault DispatchTimeMax as 2 (sets the handling time to 2. you can change this value as you wish)
setAttributeDefault ShippingType as Flat
setAttributeDefault ShippingService-1:Option as UK_SellersStandardRate
setAttributeDefault ShippingService-1:Cost as 5 (set the flat shipping fee)

|Weight||Recommended||weight||If you use UPS, FedEx, DHL, or USPS to deliver your products, product weight will be used to calculate shipping cost.|
|UPC||sku||Matching this column name is optional and helps to improve the number of your products that are displayed on Nextag. However, if provided, it is first choice data for the products to be displayed, please ensure to provide correct UPC (universal product code) numbers. Only match this column if you are certain to provide correct UPCs.|
|Distributor ID||Optional||Matching this column name is optional and helps improve the number of your products that are displayed on Nextag.|
|Seller Part #||Optional||Matching this column is optional and helps improve the quality and number of your listings displayed on Nextag. It is important to not map the manufacturer part number as the Seller Part # and to not mingle Manufacturer Part #’s and Seller Part #’s in the same column.|
|ListPrice||Recommended||The item’s price when it is not on sale.|
|Ingram Part #||Optional||Matching this column name is optional and helps improve the number of your products that are displayed on Nextag.|
Upload eBay CSV File
Once the feed is generated, navigate here:
Click: Upload Listings and Updates
– Upload your CSV file.
– After eBay processes the file (takes a few minutes), navigate to “Completed Downloads” and download the report. Feel free to send us the report and we suggest corrections.
– Once ALL errors have been taken care of, change “VerifyAdd” above to “Add” in the first Action command — note that your items will be added to eBay and you will be charged per listing.
